Dashboard Overview

Dashboard Overview

Your dashboard is the first thing you see when you sign in. It gives you a snapshot of your organization's activity, highlights what needs attention, and lets you jump straight into common tasks.

Stat Cards

At the top of the dashboard, you will find stat cards showing your key metrics at a glance:

  • Total People -- Everyone in your CRM
  • Email Appeals -- Appeals sent this period
  • Events -- Upcoming and recent events
  • Volunteers -- Active volunteer count
  • Giving -- Total raised and recent giving activity

Each card also shows a monthly change indicator (like "+12 this month") so you can quickly see how things are trending. A green arrow means growth; the number tells you exactly how much changed since the start of the month.

Achievement Badges

As your organization hits milestones, the dashboard celebrates your progress with achievement badges. These might include reaching your first 100 people, sending your first email appeal, or processing your first gift. Badges are a fun way to track how your org is growing.

Upcoming Events

The upcoming events widget shows your next scheduled events so nothing sneaks up on you. Each entry displays the event name, date, and registration count. Click any event to jump directly to its detail page.

If you do not have any upcoming events, the widget will prompt you to create one.

Quick Actions

Quick action buttons let you perform common tasks without navigating away from the dashboard:

  • Add a Person -- Opens the new person form
  • Create an Email -- Starts a new email appeal
  • Create an Event -- Opens the event creation form
  • View Reports -- Jumps to the reports section

These are the same actions available from the sidebar, but grouped here for convenience when you are starting your day.

Activity Feed

The activity feed shows a timeline of recent actions across your organization. You will see entries like:

  • New people added
  • Email appeals sent and their delivery status
  • Event registrations
  • Gifts received
  • Volunteer sign-ups

This gives you a sense of what is happening without needing to check each feature individually. It is especially useful for teams where multiple users are active in the platform.

Customizing Your View

The dashboard layout is designed to surface the most important information first. Stat cards appear at the top for quick scanning, followed by upcoming events and quick actions, with the activity feed below for context.
